- Account information: email address, authentication provider information, language settings, and similar information
- Usage information: translation and proofreading input, generated output, usage time, request counts, and settings
- Billing information: subscription status, billing history, customer IDs, and similar records processed through Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Technical information: IP address, cookies, device and browser information, logs, and error information
2. How We Use Information
- To provide the service, authenticate users, manage usage limits, and manage billing
- To run translation, proofreading, follow-up, and other AI features
- To prevent misuse, protect security, and investigate incidents
- To analyze usage and improve quality and features
- To respond to inquiries and send important service or terms-related notices
3. Translation and Proofreading Data
Text you submit and generated output are processed to provide Nico, improve quality, prevent misuse, and respond to support requests.
You are responsible for deciding whether to submit confidential information, personal information, or third-party secrets to Nico.
4. Third-Party Services
We may allow processors such as Supabase, Stripe, PostHog, LLM providers, hosting providers, and other vendors to process information as needed to provide Nico.
We use PostHog for analytics. PostHog may use cookies or similar technologies to collect usage, navigation, and device information.
Paid plan billing is processed by Stripe. Stripe handles information according to its own terms and privacy policy.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, anonymous trial limits, security, analytics, and service improvement.
6. Retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, legal compliance, dispute handling, misuse prevention, and accounting. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymized using reasonable methods.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards such as access controls, encrypted communications, permission management, and audit logs. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. International Transfers
HelloSake, Inc. and its processors may process information in the United States or other countries outside your country of residence. By using Nico, you consent to that processing.
